I lost 80 pounds in 8 months under Mark's program and supervision! 
 

I was about to turn 50 and was significantly overweight; I knew I needed to do something very different. Mark's program provided the structure and attention that I needed to make the change in myself. His program of nutrition, workouts, and support truly made me successful. He was also very conscious of any need to alter the program to accommodate any problems I may be experiencing or injuries I obtained outside of our sessions. I Lost 30 pounds in the first 6 weeks!

Mark gave me an eating program, and we began working out at the gym twice a week. The super slow method was new to me, but I bought into his approach. As a result of Mark's coaching, discipline and accountability, along with my hard work, sweat, and perseverance, I lost 30 pounds in the first 6 weeks. I figured why stop there, so, in another 6 weeks I lost 22 more pounds for a total of 52 pounds in 13 weeks. I went from 212 pounds to 160 pounds. I was truly a changed man. 
I decided to continue working with Mark to build up my body by adding lean muscle tissue and trying to shape my body. I added 10 to 15 pounds of muscle over the next year on a modified eating program and continuing our workouts twice a week.

I received results beyond my expectations, I have lost more inches than I thought possible!

After reaching 40, weight loss has been very difficult, having tried several diets over the years such as Weight Watchers and Atkins with minimal success. I have never worked so hard, or been so determined to stay with the program, and thanks to Mark, I have received results beyond my expectations!
By the end of 6 months (which included many holidays!) I was able to lose 22 pounds, and drop 2 dress sizes! 
Prior to beginning Mark's program my glucose levels were borderline to becoming diabetic, I had high blood pressure, and my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were also abnormal. These have all improved dramatically! 
Besides losing the weight, I have lost more inches than I thought possible!

I was able to lose 50 pounds in 3 months and stop my chronic knee pain!

At 38 years old I was carrying around 45 extra pounds, mostly in my gut; working a sedentary job with chronic soreness in my right knee that limited my physical activity. Thanks to Marks diet, exercise program, encouragement (and occasional kick in the butt), I was able to lose 50 pounds in 3 months. Once my weight lose goal had been reached Mark helped me restructure my diet and exercise to maintain my weight. 
I commend Mark for his professionalism, dedication, and focus in providing personalized coaching services. He is very effective at reading his clients and tailoring a program to meet their needs. One of the greatest benefits of my training was the unexpected recovery of my right knee. Since Mark tailored my workouts to strengthen the surrounding muscles, I was able to work my legs without aggravating the injury and kept in constant communication about the status of my knee, I have now reached a stage where my former knee problem is no longer a consideration in selecting exercises.

Not only have I maintained the exercise program but I began referring my patients to him!

​

I employed the services of Mark to hone my exercise program. This training not only was successful but I had the opportunity to experience first hand the excellent client-provider relationship skills Mark possesses. Not only have I maintained the exercise regime Mark provided me but I began referring patients to him from my large family practice. These patients were in need of muscle strengthening, exercise, and/or dietary programs and included people with lower back pain, diabetes, post physical therapy knee and shoulder injuries and obesity.  I required mark to give me updates during his training of these patients, these updates were noted and used for assessment during later office visits. Because of Mark's people skills and scientific knowledge relating to exercise, nutrition and strengthening, the patient's results were primarily positive. These positive results doubled my referrals to Mark.

The short, strenuous workout sessions easily fit into my busy life!

​

At 60 I had slowly been gaining weight over the past ten years and dieting all the time. I was suffering from arthritic pain and stiffness in both knees so that walking and stairs were becoming an issue. I had always been active and especially loved to hike, bike, and travel... and I saw my world shrinking. I weighed 157 pounds then and today I weigh 127 pounds and have no Knee Pain! I have maintained my new and permanent weight and can dress to show off my figure and feel physically and emotionally 20 years younger. 
I want to thank Mark for helping me to learn how to exercise in a safe, supervised, and consistent manner. The Body Balance exercise program has proven to be an effective way of building overall body strength and flexibility. I was pleased to learn that my bone density has increased by 2.5%, I contribute this to the consistent strength building exercises. More amazing than the weight loss was the fact that my pain was disappearing!

When I hit 200 pounds, I realized that my routine and diet were failing me. I contacted Body Balance and began working with Mark. Mark brings to the table extensive knowledge of nutrition and body mechanics which allow him to customize a program for each client's needs. I arrived overweight and troubled with shoulder and wrist pain. In addition to this, I have always had discomfort from tight hips and hamstrings. Mark promptly assessed my profile and encouraged me in developing a more balanced body, explaining the benefits of stretching which come with strengthening. In 7 weeks I reached my goal of losing 27 pounds, losing 5.25" around the waist. I was seeing real change in my body. More amazing than the weight loss was the fact that my pain was disappearing. I am pain free and have maintained my weight.

Body Balance is the solution to my busy schedule prevailing over my physical fitness!

I am a police officer and work on average 50 hours per week, a full time graduate student, and father of 2 children with demanding schedules. As a result of my hectic lifestyle my weight soared to an unhealthy 275 pounds. Mark proved to me, under is guidance, that if I worked out 2 times a week for thirty minutes and followed his nutrition guide, I would lose weight. In less than a year, of his doable exercise and nutrition program, I lose 75 pounds and realized the additional benefits of increase energy, reduced blood pressure, reduced blood sugar, and reduced stress. I lost 24 pounds and 15.5 inches in 12 weeks!

Because of Mark's skilled training program, outstanding nutritional plan, and consistent motivation, I lost 24 pounds and 15.5 inches in 12 weeks.
